Much of the work I do revolves around addressing the waste management challenges in the Himalayas. Yet, through it all, there are still places that showcase the untouched beauty of the hills and LaRiSa Manali is undoubtedly one of them.
When we were featured on Nikhil Kamath's podcast, his team traveled to Manali to document our work. I felt LaRiSa was the best place for them to stay, as it truly highlights the beauty and contrast of the region. From their apple orchards and garden-to-kitchen dining to their meticulous cleanliness, the property stood in stark contrast to the trash-filled trails we worked on. That comparison really underscored both the challenges we face and the importance of preserving places as beautiful as LaRiSa.
